A lifelong learner with a passion for the law, Mike loves helping others. Whether he’s managing a project, diving into research, or streamlining day-to-day operations, Mike brings a genuine curiosity to effective problem-solving.
Always up to the challenge, Mike has a proven track record of navigating complex matters in a variety of sectors, including law, insurance, finance, and business. He has lent his expertise to organizations big and small, from global corporations and national firms to local companies and community nonprofits.
Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Mike fell in love with Oregon as an undergrad at Portland State University. After graduating with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Film Studies, he went on to earn his J.D. from Arizona Summit Law School. Suddenly facing a serious medical condition, Mike had to forgo his dream of becoming a practicing attorney — and it’s now one of the best decisions he’s ever made. Mike’s career has since flourished and his work–life balance has never been healthier.
In his free time, Mike enjoys reading, disc golfing, hiking, learning new languages, playing games with friends, and going on adventures with his partner and their two dogs.

I’m a very proud dog dad.
Asavik (Asa) is a sassy German Shepherd Husky mix, and Jake is a muttjestic rescue pup.I’ve been a photographer since age 7.
Shortly after getting my first camera, I won a blue ribbon for a landscape photo. I now do motorsports photography.I love a good adventure.
Roadtrips, campouts, or anything with a view? Count me in.I’ve been an avid disc golfer since 2020.
My favorite course is Milo McIver State Park. I’ve aced twice to date and have even played quite a few tournaments.I love a good book.

From world-building as a DM to immersing myself as a player, I’ve enjoyed participating in D&D, Shadowrun, Pathfinder, Monster of the Week, and Numenera campaigns.I enjoy following a variety of sports.
My favorites include baseball, soccer, golf, and MotoGP.I’m a cinema buff.
If the Film Studies minor didn’t give it away, my movie collection numbers in the hundreds, and I love analyzing and discussing films.I’m a recovering band nerd.
